LinkedIn will start paying regular people to post. Slovak women have a head start if they start now

LinkedIn just took the biggest step toward paying creators in its history. He launched the Creator Marketplace – a place where brands will directly choose the people they want to work with. It has not yet arrived in Slovakia. And that’s exactly why now is the best time to start.

S Action women you prepare for it before the door opens.

What happened

LinkedIn has officially launched Creator Marketplace – a tool that connects brands directly with content creators. It works simply: the brand finds a creator in the LinkedIn advertising interface (Campaign Manager) whose content and audience fit its goals, and approaches her for paid cooperation.

No agencies between you. No waiting for someone to notice you in the news. Brands will come to you – where they already spend advertising budgets today.

Why does LinkedIn do this? Because the data clearly says: people don’t trust perfect corporate communication, they trust people. According to a LinkedIn survey, most B2B marketers today say that credibility is more important than traditional branded content – and partnerships with creators are the way to build it.

How it works (and who gets you there)

This is important to understand because this is exactly where the decision is made as to who will draw the benefits:

  • Entry is by invitation. LinkedIn evaluates the quality of your content, regularity, expertise in a specific topic and whether your audience fits the demand of advertisers.
  • Invited creators will receive a new Monetization tab on their profile – from there they log in to the marketplace, set up a contact email and decide which collaborations they will accept. You are in control.
  • You can negotiate the price directly with the brand. LinkedIn does not take a commission from the deal – the terms are between you.

The catch? Marketplace is currently running in test only in North America and only for English content. The global expansion is officially confirmed, the date is not yet.

What LinkedIn is up to next – and this is the big thing

The Creator Marketplace is just the first step. According to internal documents reported by Business Insider, LinkedIn is preparing a full suite of monetization tools starting in the summer of 2026:

  1. Subscription – the possibility to charge for access to a newsletter, podcast or closed community directly on LinkedIn.
  2. Paid “experiences” – one-time purchases, for example a paid consultation or consulting session with the creator.
  3. Creator fund – a fund from which LinkedIn will reward the most powerful creators (the predecessor was an acceleration program with a fund of 25 million dollars).
  4. BrandLink – share of advertising revenues for videos. This one already works globally: brands place ads with creators’ videos, and creators get a share.

Translated into practice: LinkedIn is changing from a place where you “build a personal brand” to a place where personal brand directly earns. Just as YouTube changed video and Instagram changed lifestyle content, LinkedIn is going to change professional content.

Why not start now, when it doesn’t work yet in Slovakia

This is a question that each of us asks. The answer has three parts:

1. Invitations will be given to those who already have results. LinkedIn will not invite anyone who starts publishing on launch day. It evaluates history – quality, consistency, expertise. The profile you build today is your ticket to tomorrow. Whoever starts when the marketplace opens up to Europe will be a year or two behind.

2. Brands are already looking for trusted voices today. You don’t have to wait for the official marketplace. Slovak and Czech companies are already approaching women with a built-up LinkedIn profile for cooperation – it’s just that it happens in messages, not via a button. Whoever has a profile receives offers. Who does not have, does not exist.

3. LinkedIn is today the most underrated platform in Slovakia. The organic reach that you can’t get on Instagram even for money, you can still get on LinkedIn for free. There is little competition for quality content in Slovak. That window will close – as it has closed everywhere else.
